The Gros Islet North Youth and Sports Council has opened applications for its 2nd NEET Youth Scholarship Programme in collaboration with the National Enrichment Learning Programme (NELP) and sponsored by The Oliver Gobat Sports (TOGS) Fund.
The NEET Youth Scholarship Programme will provide NEET youth (youth who are not in Employment, Education or Training) between the ages 15 – 29 to obtain a scholarship to study a course of their choosing from the NELP – Ministry of Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Development.
The programme was conceptualized on the premise of reducing poverty, unemployment and undereducation amongst youth within the District of Gros Islet.
The Applicants must:
- Reside in the District of Gros Islet
- Be between the ages of 15 – 29
- Be unemployed and/or not be enrolled in any form of education or training
